After I re-enabled the mod and got the extra utility slot on EXO armor fine. The bug repeated when I crafted Warden Armor, I had to disable the mod in order to be able to craft it, after having crafted it, the mod works fine. To clarify, Plated Armor unlocks "Predator Armor" in Engineering, which confers the second item slot. It also unlocks the Proving Grounds projects for the E.X.O. Suit and Spider Suit, which are also second-tier armors on par with Predator Armor, but which confer different bonuses instead of granting a second item slot.
